Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 19, 2026
Rare Watch Finder is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
1. Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
2. Measures We Take
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
- Keyboard navigation support across all interactive elements
- ARIA labels and landmarks for assistive technology
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios for text legibility
- Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Consistent navigation and page structure
- Form labels and error messages for input fields
- Focus indicators for keyboard users
- Skip navigation links for efficient page navigation
3. Accessibility Features
3.1 Navigation
All pages can be navigated using keyboard only (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys). The navigation menu is accessible via keyboard and screen readers.
3.2 Content
All text content uses semantic HTML elements (headings, paragraphs, lists) for proper structure. Pages can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
3.3 Forms
All form fields have associated labels. Error messages are clearly identified and described. Required fields are indicated both visually and programmatically.
3.4 Animations
We respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" system setting. Users who have enabled reduced motion in their operating system will see minimal or no animations.
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Some third-party content (embedded payment forms) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control
- Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible
- Some decorative animations may not fully respect reduced motion preferences in all cases
5. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Rare Watch Finder. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers:
- Via our contact form
- By email at accessibility@rarewatchfinder.com
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve issues within 30 days where possible.
6. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you may escalate your complaint to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) in the UK, or the equivalent authority in your jurisdiction.
This Accessibility Statement should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
